M’illumino di Meno 2025
M'illumino di Meno is the national initiative for Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles, conceived in 2005 by Rai Radio2 with the Caterpillar broadcast to spread the culture of environmental sustainability and resource saving.
It starts on Sunday 16 February with the usual promotion of the symbolic switching off of the lights, looking for international alliances, through twinning for municipalities, projects for schools, universities, research and offices abroad for companies. During the following week, however, space will be given to the theme of sustainable fashion.
Intesa Sanpaolo, in its role as a disseminator of sustainability principles and supporter of the green transition of its customers, is once again joining this year with various initiatives.
Symbolic lighting switching off
To raise awareness of energy saving, the Group has chosen to turn off the lights in some representative offices in Italy and abroad.
- Gallerie d'Italia Milan, Naples, Turin and Vicenza, in the façade or courtyard lights from 7 pm for about an hour and a half on 4.2 pm
- Turin skyscraper, turning off the lights of common rooms, greenhouse, panoramic elevators, artist's light installations in the afternoon and evening time slots of 17.2
- Gioia 22 skyscraper in Milan, external façade shutdown in the late afternoon/evening of 17.2
- Abroad (17.2):
- Slovenia and Croatia will turn off the lights at their respective HQs in Koper, Ljubljana and Zagreb
- BIB in its own HQ in Belgrade
- HQ Bucharest (America House building, 6th floor and HO Arad)
- Egypt will turn off the lights in 3 central locations (Gomhoreya, Smart village, Abd-Elkhalek tharwat)
- CIB will turn off the light in Petrezselyem HQ building
An Innovation Coffee to talk about sustainable fashion
On 20/2 there will be an Innovation Coffee, an event organized by Innovation Center, on the theme Fashion and sustainability: a new paradigm. We will talk about it with Federica Vacca, Professor in Fashion Design for Sustainability at the Politecnico di Milano, and Adriana Santanocito, CEO of Ohoskin - a startup of the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center network that has developed a circular and cruelty-free material starting from orange and prickly pear peel waste.
Innovation Coffees are events organized by the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center dedicated to the discovery and dissemination of the culture of innovation. During the meetings, cutting-edge topics are presented: latest generation technologies, innovative startups, insights into innovation issues, new forms of communication and presentation of cutting-edge tools.
