Cyber Security Academy 2019
On February 4th at the Career Lab of Politecnico di Milano there will be the closing event of Cyber Security Academy 2019, born from the collaboration between the university, Intesa Sanpaolo and other business partners.
Cyber Security Academy is an innovative educational path co-developed by the Career Service, professors from Politecnico di Milano Departments of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB), and three business partners, especially aimed at the students enrolled in Novel Emerging Computing System Technologies Laboratory (NECST), the DEIB structure thought to create a contamination between research, academic teaching and business know-how.
The Academy points to fill the gap of cyber security professionals in companies and Public Administration. Cyber Security is one of the key sectors of our Economy because the principle of always connected has led to a significant increase of cyber attacks risk aimed to steal data and sensitive information to the companies.
Intesa Sanpaolo promotes and supports the activation of programs finalized to train highly qualified professionals, able to face, manage and experiment Cyber Security with new methodologies and new tools , because the Bank thinks that human factor is the key element on which to focus to spread risk culture in all business functions.
In different moments the students had the possibility to experience Intesa Sanpaolo approach and know-how, as well as to present their projects and talk to experts of the Cyber Security business unit about methods, techniques and groundbreaking projects and the development perspectives of the industry.
During the Recruiting day, the Bank presented to the students the opportunities for professional growth within the firm context, inviting them to apply for if interested.
Throughout the final event the students will have the opportunity to trace the lived experience and to confront with professors and companies involved.
