INTESA SANPAOLO: MOODY’S AFFIRMS RATING AND OUTLOOK ON DEBTS. BFSR RATING ALSO AFFIRMED WITH OUTLOOK REVISED TO NEGATIVE FROM STABLE

Torino, Milano, 18 June 2009 – Intesa Sanpaolo informs that today Moody’s has affirmed Aa2 long-term debt rating and P-1 short-term debt rating assigned to Intesa Sanpaolo with stable outlook. The Agency has also affirmed the B- Bank Financial Strength Rating with outlook revised to negative from stable.
