INTESA SANPAOLO: STANDARD & POOR’S CONFIRMS RATINGS
AND REVISES OUTLOOK FOLLOWING A SIMILAR RATING ACTION ON THE SOVEREIGN

 

Torino, Milano, 24 May 2011 – Intesa Sanpaolo informs that today Standard & Poor’s has confirmed the A+ long-term and the A-1 short-term ratings assigned to the Bank. Following the revision to negative of the outlook on the Republic of Italy announced on 20 May 2011 the rating agency has shifted the Bank’s outlook from stable to negative.
