INTESA SANPAOLO: STANDARD & POOR’S PLACES RATINGS ON WATCH NEGATIVE FOLLOWING SAME ACTION ON ITALY
Torino, Milano, 8 December 2011 – Intesa Sanpaolo announces that Standard & Poor’s has placed the Bank’s ‘A/A-1’ long- and short-term ratings on CreditWatch with negative implications. This action follows Standard & Poor’s announcement on 5 December 2011 that they had placed long- and short-term sovereign ratings on Italy on CreditWatch negative.
