INTESA SANPAOLO: SUBMISSION OF THE FIRST LIST OF CANDIDATES FOR THE POSTS OF SUPERVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
Turin - Milan, March 18th 2013 - Intesa Sanpaolo communicates that the first list of candidates for the appointment of Supervisory Board members for financial years 2013/2014/2015 - on the agenda of the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting summoned for April 22nd 2013 - was filed with the Company’s registered office on March 15th 2013 and today made public at the Company’s registered office and at Borsa Italiana and published on the website group.intesasanpaolo.com, in accordance with regulations in force. The filed list is completed with the required documents including the candidature acceptance declaration and a description of the candidate’s personal and professional characteristics.
The first list is made up of 17 candidates for the posts of Supervisory Board members, consecutively numbered (see below) and was submitted by shareholders
- Compagnia di San Paolo, with registered office in Turin, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 75
(holder of 1,506,372,075 ordinary shares, representing 9.718% of the ordinary share capital),
- Fondazione Cariplo, with registered office in Milan, Via Manin, 23
(holder of 767,029,267 ordinary shares, representing 4.948% of the ordinary share capital),
holding a total of 2,273,401,342 shares, representing 14.666% of the ordinary share capital, and also proposing that the number of Supervisory Board members to be appointed be 19:
