INTESA SANPAOLO: THE BANK DENIES FALSE NEWS
Turin - Milan, April 24th 2015 – Intesa Sanpaolo communicates that a press release has come out today, seemingly issued by the Bank, announcing the resignation of Managing Director and CEO Carlo Messina. This press release is totally false and groundless.
Intesa Sanpaolo has already informed the relevant market authorities for all necessary actions.
Furthermore, Intesa Sanpaolo has instructed the managers responsible for the Group’s IT security to collect all the elements useful to identify the persons who have conceived and carried out this serious act. In addition, the Bank is assessing with its lawyers all the judicial actions to its safeguard.
