INTESA SANPAOLO: SUSPENSION OF BOARD DIRECTOR
Turin - Milan, 17 December 2019 – Intesa Sanpaolo communicates that Board Director Corrado Gatti has informed the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Management Control Committee that he has decided to be on voluntary suspension from his post as a Board Director and Management Control Committee member within Intesa Sanpaolo, with effect from 13 December 2019 and until 31 March 2020. Corrado Gatti has made this decision for personal reasons and as an appropriate measure as he intends to preserve peace of mind for himself and for the Board of Directors and the Management Control Committee of the Bank in relation to his personal involvement in matters concerning the composition procedure of Astaldi S.p.A..
