INTESA SANPAOLO: DBRS MORNINGSTAR CONFIRMS THE BANK’S RATINGS AND REVISES TREND FROM STABLE TO NEGATIVE FOLLOWING SIMILAR ACTION ON ITALY’S TREND

Turin - Milan, 12 May 2020 – Intesa Sanpaolo communicates that today DBRS Morningstar has confirmed the Bank’s BBB (high) long-term senior preferred (unsecured) rating and its R-1 (low) short-term rating. The trend has been revised from stable to negative on both ratings.

The trend revision follows the revision of Italy’s trend announced by DBRS Morningstar on 8 May 2020.
