INTESA SANPAOLO: FITCH RATINGS HAS LOWERED THE BANK’S LONG-TERM RATING, WITH STABLE OUTLOOK, AND ITS SHORT-TERM RATING
Turin - Milan, 12 May 2020 – Intesa Sanpaolo communicates that today Fitch Ratings has lowered the Bank’s long-term senior preferred (unsecured) rating to ‘BBB-’ from ‘BBB’, with a stable outlook, and its short-term rating to ‘F3’ from ‘F2’.
This follows the downgrade of Italy’s sovereign ratings to ‘BBB-’ from ‘BBB’, with a stable outlook, and to ‘F3’ from ‘F2’, announced by Fitch Ratings on 28 April 2020.
