Intesa Sanpaolo enhances climate-related disclosure with first TCFD Report
Intesa Sanpaolo has published its first Group-wide TCFD Report, covering 2020-2021, prepared in accordance with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The report is a voluntary reporting on the risks and opportunities associated with climate change, in line with international best practice and addressing the growing sensitivity of all stakeholders to the issue.
The publication of the TCFD Report further expands the Group’s sustainability disclosure, contained since 2019 in the Group’s Consolidated Non-Financial Statements, following Intesa Sanpaolo's adherence to the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosure Recommendations.
The publication of the TCFD Report closely follows the formal commitment undertaken by Intesa Sanpaolo to net zero emissions by 2050 and to joining the Net-Zero Banking Alliance.
