Intesa Sanpaolo in first place for financial communication and ESG

Intesa Sanpaolo is the first company in Italy for investor relations and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) aspects, according to the Italian Investor Relations Association.

The Italian Investor Relations Association, in collaboration with the specialist research company Institutional Investor, recognised Intesa Sanpaolo’s leadership in the following categories:

• Best IR in ESG for a Large Cap company
• Best IR in Services and Communication for a Large Cap company
• Best IR in Financial Disclosure for a Large Cap company.

In addition, Marco Delfrate of Intesa Sanpaolo ranked first in the ranking of Investor Relations Officers in Italy.

The awards are based on the results of the 2021 Institutional Investor’s survey in which 600 institutional investors and financial analysts participated.
