Sustainability linked credit facility of €500 mln to Fincantieri

Intesa Sanpaolo supports Fincantieri with a €500 million “sustainability linked” revolving credit facility for the construction of cruise ships.

The three-year financing is characterised by a pricing mechanism linked to the achievement of two performance indicators (“KPIs”):

  • sustainability score, assigned annually by S&P Global
  • energy efficiency of the cruise ships delivered each year

thus linking the financing to the achievement of precise sustainability targets.
