Truffles industry: €10 million to support growers

Intesa Sanpaolo, Urbani Tartufi and Truffleland have signed a partnership agreement to facilitate access to credit for truffle sector companies.

Particular attention has been reserved for local Umbrian companies, for €10 million in funds has been allocated to finance long-term investments and encourage generational turnover, thus supporting young entrepreneurs.

The Bank aims to facilitate access to credit for growers and distributors identified as strategic by sector leaders, in keeping with Intesa Sanpaolo's Supply Chain Program.

The truffle sector is an example of Italian excellence and is part of a segment – agribusiness – to which Intesa Sanpaolo devotes specific attention and resources through its Agribusiness Department.
