Neva invests in Caracol, leader in large-scale 3D printing

Through its Neva First Fund, Neva SGR, a venture capital company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has finalised an investment in Caracol, a leading Italian large-scale 3D-printing company.

Through this investment, Caracol aims to:

  • grow on an international scale
  • triple the company's headcount by 2024

continuing to invest around 40% turnover in R&D, to expand the range of materials processed and the market for potential applications produced, improving technical performance in terms of efficiency, sustainability and flexibility.

CDP Venture Capital, Primo Space Fund and EUREKA! Venture SGR – funds that had already invested in Caracol – also participated the investment.

Neva SGR continues to invest in Italy, in a central sector for the country's economy: Industry-4.0 manufacturing.
