SMEs and growth in the capital market: the Third Elite Lounge 2024 kicks off
Intesa Sanpaolo launches the third ELITE Lounge 2024: the financial acceleration path, in order to grow in the capital market, will assist 20 Italian SMEs in the consolidation of development plans and internationalisation process, through highly qualified training courses.
The programme also offers the opportunity to access a European network of entrepreneurs, top executives and investors, including institutions.
The initiative, now in its sixth year, has enabled participating companies not only to gain visibility but also to perform better financially: in the period 2019-2023, the 450 companies included in the lounges recorded 12% annual growth in average turnover.
Numerous companies in the Lounge also concluded M&A transactions - entry of minority/majority investors, acquisitions - or underwrote Basket Bonds, including those structured by Intesa Sanpaolo. Four companies went public.

The 20 SMEs selected for this Lounge come from all over Italy and belong to different industries, including agribusiness, construction, tourism and clothing.
Elite Lounge is realised in collaboration with ELITE, Euronext's ecosystem that helps small- and medium-sized enterprises to grow and access private and public capital markets.
