As financial advisor, and through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, Intesa Sanpaolo assisted F2i in the sale of 2i Rete Gas to Italgas for a consideration of €2.060 billion.

With this transaction, the Italgas group becomes the leading European operator in the gas distribution sector and the leading operator in Italy and Greece.

The Intesa Sanpaolo Group, led by CEO Carlo Messina, thus confirms its role as a point of reference in M&A advisory activities supporting the development and growth of companies.
