Female entrepreneurship: new edition of the Women Value Company award launched
Intesa Sanpaolo is launching the eighth edition of the "Women Value Company" award dedicated to SMEs that promote employment and female entrepreneurship, organised in collaboration with the Marisa Bellisario Foundation.
More specifically, the competition is open to small and medium-sized enterprises that are attentive to gender equality and actively promote female talent through:
- work-life balance services and corporate welfare initiatives (e.g. benefits, vouchers, internal daycare)
- flexible work organisation policies
- non-discriminatory merit pay policies
- plans for the development and enhancement of women's skills and careers, with women in management or senior positions
- actions in favour of a culture of gender diversity
The winners – one small enterprise and one medium-sized enterprise – will be awarded the two special “Mele d'Oro” trophies at the award ceremony for the 36th edition of the Marisa Bellisario Prize.
Intesa Sanpaolo will also award some female entrepreneurs with the special mentions "Women for Made in Italy", "Women for Innovation" and "Women for Social Responsibility" at specific events recognising all the finalist companies with the "Women Value Company 2024 - Intesa Sanpaolo" award.
More than 5,000 companies from all over Italy participated in previous editions of the “Women Value Company - Intesa Sanpaolo” award
To apply for the “Women Value Company - Intesa Sanpaolo” award, please fill in the questionnaire in the Business section of the Intesa Sanpaolo website or on the website of the Maria Bellisario Foundation.
Applications are open until 23 April 2024.
Intesa Sanpaolo has made €1 billion of credit available to support the start-up and strengthening of women's entrepreneurship – in line with the NRRP missions – to maximise the contribution of women to Italy’s economic and social development.
