Intesa Sanpaolo advised Percassi Group on the Oriocenter transaction
2 October 2025
The IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo acted as advisor to Gruppo Percassi in the transaction which, together with Generali Real Estate, led to the acquisition of the Oriocenter Shopping Mall from Commerz Real, for a total value of approximately €470 million.
The fund that acquired ownership of Oriocenter is 50% owned by Gruppo Percassi and 50% by a pan-European fund governed by Luxembourg law, focused on leading shopping centres, and managed by Generali Real Estate SGR as investment manager.
Located just outside Bergamo, Oriocenter is Italy’s largest shopping centre: 105,000 square metres, 300 shops, and almost 12 million visitors in 2024. Thanks to this acquisition, Oriocenter will be able to implement innovative development strategies to attract an even broader audience.
The transaction confirms the role of the IMI CIB Division as a key partner in advisory services supporting the strategic and development initiatives of national and international players.
