Intesa Sanpaolo supports start-ups and innovation at DigithON 2025
11 September 2025
Intesa Sanpaolo continues to reinforce its commitment to innovation in Italy, through a strategy focused on:
- the evolution of internal products and processes
- the growth of a robust national innovation ecosystem.
The Bank supports and accompanies the development of high value-added projects by start-ups and SMEs, also in synergy with leading industrial and institutional partners.
This commitment is particularly evident in promoting innovation that supports economic, environmental, and social sustainability. The aim is to foster a competitive and sustainable environment where companies become more resilient through research, development, and open innovation initiatives.
In line with this mission, Intesa Sanpaolo has partnered once again with DigithON, the digital start-up competition now in its tenth edition, which this year focused on artificial intelligence. The event featured three days of pitches, projects and ideas presented in front of a selected audience of top national and international investors.
For participating start-ups, the programme also included insights on innovation and training sessions involving entrepreneurs and institutions.
Intesa Sanpaolo has been a partner of DigithON since its inception and once again took part this year with representatives on the Scientific Committee evaluating the start-ups. Among the attendees were Alessandra Modenese, Regional Director for Basilicata, Puglia and Molise, and Marianna Ronzoni, Head of Start-up Evaluation and Growth at Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, who presented the Bank’s initiatives to support innovation ecosystems across Italy, with a focus on the South.
During the event, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center presented the Sustainability and Circular Economy Award. The winner will gain access to dedicated coaching sessions.
DigithON 2025 took place from 11 to 13 September at the Vecchie Segherie Mastrototaro in Bisceglie, Apulia.
