Pooled financing to support CPL CONCORDIA's development plans

Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division participated, alongside other leading institutions, in the €72 million loan for CPL CONCORDIA.

In the transaction, assisted by SACE's Archimede Guarantee, the IMI CIB Division acted as Global Coordinator, Bookrunner and Mandated Lead Arranger.

The financing will enable CPL CONCORDIA to embark on a new development path with investments allocated to:

energy efficiency
digitalisation
the use of Artificial Intelligence
sustainability.

CPL CONCORDIA, founded in 1899, is a leading company in the production, management and distribution of energy systems and has 1,700 employees. The company's focus today is on the energy transition, in particular Biomethane, Photovoltaics and Hydrogen, with significant projects at national level, including the Hydrogen Valley in Modena.
