Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division has participated, together with a pool of banks, in the €11.2 million loan to Padania Acque, the sole manager of the Integrated Water Service in the province of Cremona, serving 113 municipalities.

The three-year credit facility will support the E.A.S.I. Project (Efficientamento Reti Acquedottistiche tramite Sistema Integrato), co-financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) for more than €23 million, of which €19 million in grants.

The works, which are scheduled to last until 2026, will improve key technical indicators related to water losses, service interruptions and the quality of water delivered, increasing system resilience, water savings and reducing energy consumption.

The transaction confirms Intesa Sanpaolo's commitment to supporting projects related to ecological transition and national strategic infrastructure.
