Intesa Sanpaolo supports Aedifica in European Healthcare real estate

Intesa Sanpaolo's IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division participated, alongside a syndicate of international banks, in the €620 million financing for Aedifica, acting as Bookrunner, Coordinator and Sustainability Coordinator.
The transaction is structured as a sustainability-linked Revolving Credit Facility and is aimed at refinancing Aedifica's existing debt while supporting the continued growth of its portfolio.
Aedifica is a Regulated Real Estate Company (RREC) under Belgian law specialised in European healthcare real estate, particularly in elderly care.
The Company has developed a property portfolio with totalling approximately €12.4 billion across Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Finland, Ireland, Spain, France and Italy.
The financing provided to Aedifica further confirms Intesa Sanpaolo's commitment to supporting leading international companies operating in strategic sectors with a strong social impact. This commitment combines financial innovation, sustainability and support for healthcare infrastructure dedicated to the care and wellbeing of people, contributing to the development of a sector that is becoming increasingly vital in addressing Europe's demographic challenges.
