Intesa Sanpaolo provides €3m financing to Blastness for AI innovation

Intesa Sanpaolo supports the sustainable and digital growth of Blastness, a technology provider for hotel booking systems, with €3 million in financing to fund research and development, international expansion and employee welfare initiatives.
Financing to support AI applications in hospitality technology
The financing enables research and development investments focused on artificial intelligence applications for hotel booking and distribution systems. Intesa Sanpaolo also accompanies Blastness in international expansion and potential acquisition strategies by providing financing solutions, advisory services and access to the bank’s international network across approximately 40 countries.
Founded in 2004, Blastness helps hospitality companies strengthen their direct booking channels. For more than fifteen consecutive years the company has been the leading distribution system provider for five-star hotels in Italy. Its platform manages more than €2 billion in bookings annually and has recorded online booking growth of more than 210% over the past seven years.
S-Loan for ESG objectives
The financing is structured through Intesa Sanpaolo’s S-Loan solution, providing an interest rate reduction when predefined environmental, social and governance targets are achieved.
The transaction reflects Intesa Sanpaolo’s broader commitment to supporting companies investing in digital innovation and sustainable transformation.
Corporate welfare initiatives for employees
The collaboration between Intesa Sanpaolo and Blastness also includes initiatives focused on employee wellbeing.
Blastness has adopted several welfare solutions provided by the Intesa Sanpaolo Group for its approximately 250 employees, reflecting the company’s attention to employee wellbeing and its commitment to promoting sustainable growth models combining technological innovation, international development and social responsibility.
