IMI CIB strengthens dialogue with businesses with Obiettivo Italia 2026
19 March 2026
In an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving economic and geopolitical environment, Intesa Sanpaolo is launching the third edition of "Obiettivo Italia", the nationwide series of meetings promoted by the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, aimed at fostering dialogue with businesses on the key drivers of transformation, including global scenarios, risk management and innovation.
A nationwide dialogue with Italian businesses
Obiettivo Italia is a travelling initiative designed to strengthen direct engagement between Intesa Sanpaolo’s IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division and the national business community. The programme includes eight stops across some of the country’s main economic areas, with meetings focused on analysing macroeconomic and geopolitical trends and their impact on corporate strategies.
The meetings bring together entrepreneurs, executives, public-sector representatives and the bank’s specialists in a dedicated forum for discussion on key topics for business competitiveness.
Focus on scenarios, risks and innovation
The 2026 edition will specifically address:
- the evolution of macroeconomic and geopolitical scenarios
- the management of risks in volatile environments
- the role of innovation in the transformation of business models
The initiative is part of the IMI CIB Division’s strategy to support businesses with specialised expertise and advisory solutions in a rapidly evolving global context.
“Our goal is to reinforce our role as a strategic partner for clients by providing specialised expertise and advisory solutions to support their growth paths and competitiveness in international markets”
Michele Sorrentino, Head of the Italian Network, IMI CIB Division, Intesa Sanpaolo
The programme will run throughout the year, with events in several Italian cities: Florence, Battaglia Terme (Padua), Lonato del Garda (Brescia), Turin, Milan, Naples, Bologna and Rome, continuing the journey started in previous editions.
The Italian Network supporting businesses
The initiative notably involves the Italian Network of the IMI CIB Division, the structure coordinating commercial activities across the national territory within the Distribution Platforms & GTB Area.
The network is organised into six Regions and fifteen Corporate Centres located in Italy’s main cities, serving more than 2,400 groups, and contributes to supporting the competitive and sustainable development of Italian businesses.
