Intesa Sanpaolo has allocated €500 million to support Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia and Basilicata regions affected by recent severe weather events, with dedicated measures for households and businesses – with a particular focus on agricultural supply chains – aimed at providing immediate support for local economic recovery.

The financial support is available to the entire economic and social fabric of the affected areas:

  • households residing in the damaged areas
  • businesses and SMEs
  • artisans and retailers
  • Third Sector organisations

Particular attention is given to the agricultural sector across the four regions, among the most impacted by extreme weather events. Flooded farmland requires reworking and replanting, while several seasonal crops have been damaged. New financing solutions with dedicated terms are being made available.

It is also possible to apply for a suspension of the principal portion of repayments for up to 18 months:

  • for business loans
  • for mortgages of households residing in the affected areas

Intesa Sanpaolo’s local branches and Digital Branch are available to provide information and assistance.
