Intesa Sanpaolo advisor to Geosec on Algebris’ investment in the company

Intesa Sanpaolo acted as financial advisor to Geosec in the acquisition of a 70% stake in the company by Algebris Green Transition Fund.

The transaction represents a significant example of extraordinary finance dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises, made possible by the unique integrated advisory model offered by Intesa Sanpaolo.

This model is based on close collaboration between the Banca dei Territori Division and the Mid Cap Corporate Finance team of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, confirming the strong synergy between specialist expertise and financial instruments traditionally reserved for large corporates, which the Bank also makes available to small and medium-sized companies.

Founded in 2003 in Parma, Geosec operates primarily in the field of subsurface engineering, providing ground and foundation consolidation solutions for buildings and infrastructure. Through this transaction, Geosec aims to implement a targeted growth strategy in a market that still offers significant opportunities.
