Intesa Sanpaolo has provided a €20 million loan to support the international growth strategy of Andriani S.p.A. Società Benefit (Benefit Corporation), an Italian company operating in the innovation-driven and healthy food segment. The transaction strengthens the Group’s financial structure and supports industrial investments in overseas markets.
Financing international industrial development
The loan supports the completion of industrial projects outside Europe, including the opening of a new manufacturing plant in North America, located in London, Ontario. The transaction enables Andriani to consolidate its global footprint and assess additional business opportunities beyond its traditional healthy pasta core.
The role of Intesa Sanpaolo’s Agribusiness Department
The operation was structured by Intesa Sanpaolo’s Agribusiness Division, with SACE acting as partner and guarantor of Andriani’s global growth path. The initiative forms part of the broader commitment of the Banca dei Territori Division to support investments by Italian agrifood supply chains.
The transaction is part of the €10 billion funding programme that Intesa Sanpaolo has allocated to companies operating in the Made in Italy agrifood sector.
Intesa Sanpaolo’s international support model
Through the “Grow to Compete” programme and the cooperation between the Banca dei Territori Division and the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, Intesa Sanpaolo provides Italian SMEs with access to financial instruments and advisory services for international expansion and extraordinary finance, strengthening the competitiveness of national production chains.
