Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, has participated alongside a syndicate of banks in a €450 million sustainability-linked financing facility for Granarolo Group, one of Italy's leading companies in the dairy sector.

The financing is linked to specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets set by Granarolo Group, with an incentive mechanism tied to the achievement of defined sustainability performance indicators.

As part of the transaction, the IMI CIB Division acted as Global Coordinator, Sustainability Coordinator and Agent.

Granarolo Group represents Italy's largest dairy supply chain directly owned by producers organised as a cooperative.

The transaction forms part of Intesa Sanpaolo's broader commitment to supporting the real economy and the competitiveness of Italy's productive sector through financial solutions that integrate industrial objectives with sustainability.

This approach helps strengthen companies' ability to address future challenges and achieve long-term, sustainable growth.
