Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, has participated, together with a pool of banks, in a €900 million Sustainability-Linked financing in support of the Lavazza Group, one of the leading global players in the coffee market.

The financing is linked to specific ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) targets set by the Lavazza Group and includes an incentive mechanism tied to the achievement of defined sustainability performance indicators.

Within the pool transaction, the IMI CIB Division acted as Sustainability Coordinator, Agent, lender and Mandated Lead Arranger.

This transaction further confirms Intesa Sanpaolo’s commitment to supporting companies in their sustainable growth journeys by promoting innovative financial solutions that integrate ESG criteria and contribute to long-term value creation for the broader economic and social system.
