Extel 2026 rankings: Intesa Sanpaolo leads Europe for IR and ESG Program

Intesa Sanpaolo once again ranks first among Europe’s banks for relations with institutional investors and financial analysts, as well as for Best ESG Program, according to the 2026 Extel rankings. The recognition is based on a survey involving more than 1,500 institutional investors and financial analysts and acknowledges the consistency of the Group’s strategy, the quality of its market dialogue and its ability to combine financial results, transparency and sustainability.

Among the main recognitions received:
- Intesa Sanpaolo Board of Directors confirmed Best Company Board in European banking for the fifth consecutive year
- Luca Bocca voted Best CFO for the second consecutive year • Marco Delfrate voted Best Investor Relations Professional for the ninth consecutive year
- Intesa Sanpaolo’s Investor Relations team – led by Marco Delfrate and Andrea Tamagnini – ranked the best in European banking for the ninth year
- Intesa Sanpaolo ranked first for Best ESG Program among European banks for the seventh consecutive year
