Intesa Sanpaolo grows in Australia with the new branch in Sydney

From the first quarter of 2021 the Corporate branch of Intesa Sanpaolo becomes operational in Sydney. Intesa Sanpaolo becomes the only Italian bank present with a branch in Australia, one of the most interesting international markets for Italian companies, as shown by the data on trade between the two countries.

The opening of the Sydney branch constitutes a very important step in the international development plan, allowing for an even more significant strengthening of Intesa Sanpaolo's presence in the Asia-Pacific area.

The new branch, which will report to the Hong Kong Hub, will allow the Group to support Italian companies even better in their internationalization process, as well as to intensify support for the main local and international operators present in the Australian market.

Also present in Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group strengthens its international network (4 Hub branches, 11 operational branches, 9 representative offices and 4 corporate banks, in 25 countries around the world) to support Italian companies in their path of internationalization and consolidate the link with local and international customers.
