Global Finance names Intesa Sanpaolo “Best Bank in Italy”. Intesa Sanpaolo and its subsidiaries in Croatia, Serbia and Slovakia recognized as leaders in restoring growth and mapping a way forward after COVID-19

Intesa Sanpaolo has been recognized as Best Bank in Italy for 2021 by Global Finance magazine.

The Group’s subsidiaries were also awarded for excellence with Banca Intesa Beograd as Best Bank in Serbia, with PBZ as Best Bank in Croatia, and VUB as Best Bank in Slovakia.

Each year, with the help of financial analysts, Global Finance selects the top performers among international banks. Criteria used to assess banks include: sustainability of the business model, governance, progress achieved in the previous year, managerial excellence and innovative technology for customers.
