Circular Economy: € 70 million loan to PreZero

Intesa Sanpaolo has signed a financing agreement with PreZero for an amount of € 70 million aimed at achieving specific targets related to the circular economy.

PreZero is a company dedicated to the management of waste and recyclables of the German Schwarz Group with which Intesa Sanpaolo had concluded an additional loan in favor of GreenCycle a year ago.

The transaction falls within the € 6 billion ceiling dedicated to the circular economy envisaged by the 2018-2021 business plan.

Intesa Sanpaolo is one of the most sustainable banks in the world, included in the main sustainability indexes and is Financial Services Strategic Partner of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation

Furthermore, Intesa Sanpaolo won the 2020 edition of the Premio dei Premi with the Circular Economy Plafond project.
