Intesa Sanpaolo and the Aerospace Technology District of Campania have signed a two-year agreement to support the growth of companies in the sector through:

  • investments in research and technological services
  • enhancement of production chains
  • training courses
  • business opportunities in foreign markets.

Intesa Sanpaolo will support space economy entrepreneurs by discussing the technical and industrial aspects of projects and providing the necessary liquidity with instruments such as Nova+ Space&Security, dedicated to investments in innovative technologies, patents and know-how for the creation of new technological products and services.

Campania's aerospace sector has always provided significant added value to the regional economy: Srm – a research centre with ties to Intesa Sanpaolo – reports that the Campania aerospace industry's exports reached €422 million in the third quarter of 2021, accounting for 60.3% of the figure for Southern Italy and 11.7% of the national figure.
