New "In Action ESG Climate" call for innovative, sustainable business

The life companies of Intesa Sanpaolo's Insurance Division (Intesa Sanpaolo Vita, Intesa Sanpaolo Life and Fideuram Vita), in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, are promoting for the second year the programme "In Action ESG Climate", a call for ideas to support innovative, sustainable business.

More specifically, the programme is dedicated to Italian start-ups and SMEs that will present innovative projects with a significant, measurable impact1 in favour of the ecological transition, in the following areas:

  • Climate Tech
  • Manufacturing
  • Sustainable Lifestyle
  • Agrifood Tech

Proposals must be able to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption by promoting:

  • use of energy from renewable sources
  • responsible use of natural resources
  • reduction of waste
  • development of the circular economy

indicating operational results (KPIs) that can be achieved within 12 months from the submission of the plan.

The three winning companies will receive a prize of €250,000, €150,000 and €100,000, respectively, to complete their projects.

1- Technology maturity level of 6 or higher according to the Technology Readiness Level methodology (Technology demonstrated in an industrially relevant environment)
