Intesa Sanpaolo supports Lardini's growth in Japan
Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the development in the Japanese market of Lardini, a fashion house from Italy's Marche region, with a loan of 150 million yen (equivalent to approximately €1 million), which will enable it to open a new mono-brand store in Aoyama, a district of Tokyo known for its haute couture scene.
The loan, disbursed to the subsidiary Lardini Japan, was organised thanks to the collaboration between the Banca dei Territori Division, the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division and the Tokyo Branch, according to a synergic model of supporting the growth of Italian SMEs in international markets.
Lardini is a strong example of Italian excellence with its roots in the region's manufacturing acumen. Today it distributes its brands in Italy, Europe and the Far East, where its most important markets are Japan, Korea and China.
