Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione Peppino Vismara and the Intesa Sanpaolo Charitable Fund are supporting projects to combat poverty in Lombardy and the provinces of Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola: they have made over €11 million available to set up, in cooperation with the Community Foundations, local joint planning processes for coordinated responses to the needs of vulnerable people.

The aim of the initiative is to respond to the progressive impoverishment of families caused by the economic crises, with particular attention to families with minor children and those not yet supported by local services.

The first 22 selected projects, to be launched in 2023, provide contributions of more than €7 million to the communities of Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Lodi, Mantua, central Milan, North Milan, Pavia, Sondrio, Ticino Olona and Varese.

The Intesa Sanpaolo Charitable Fund is decisively contributing to the achievement of the social objectives of the Group's 2022-2025 Business Plan in order to help combat problems linked to situations of fragility and inequality.
