INTESA SANPAOLO AND COMPAGNIA DELLE OPERE (CDO): AGREEMENT RENEWED
- Banking products and services on advantageous financial terms for all the Associates of CDO
- Partnership consolidated and strengthened by ad hoc instruments
Milan, 21 July 2008 – The CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Corrado Passera, the General Manager Pietro Modiano and the Chairman of Compagnia delle Opere Bernhard Scholz signed an Agreement in Milan today, which will be implemented by BFS Partner, represented on this occasion by its Chairman Paolo Fumagalli, and which replaces the agreements drawn up previously and separately by Banca Intesa and Sanpaolo IMI with the CDO.
The Agreement shall govern relations between the signatories with regard to the Associations, Companies, Institutes and Partner Entities of the Compagnia delle Opere and all their employees.
This renewal consolidates the partnership between Intesa Sanpaolo and CDO by virtue of numerous interrelated exclusivity agreements and their reesulting benefits for the numerous associates of CDO in terms of lower costs and appropriate IT instruments. The products and services of the Bank shall be offered on advantageous financial terms by comparison with the market: over 34,000 associated companies, 500,000 employees and operators in the service sector will benefit from personalised financial instruments both for managing corporate cash flow and for personal credit access operations through the Credito al Lavoro service.
The agreement covers various products: the Presto Business financing and the loans offer favourable spreads and competitive corporate accounts to professional operators and families. This attention to small and medium companies is further confirmed by the PMI Tutoring agreement, currently in operation for the subsidiaries of the group in Lombardy, which defines the use of the Information Memorandum, a vital instrument for understanding corporate realities that highlights the financial sustainability of financing requests.
As well as harmonising the previous agreements in the context of the merger between Intesa and Sanpaolo IMI, the signing of the Agreement confirms and strengthens the excellent relations between the CDO and the Bank.
