INTESA SANPAOLO: SILVANA CHILELLI, ILARIA ROMAGNOLI AND TOMAS SPURNY JOIN THE STAFF OF ENRICO CUCCHIANI, CEO

Turin - Milan, September 6, 2012 - Intesa Sanpaolo announces that three new professionals with significant international experience are to join the staff of Enrico Cucchiani, Managing Director and CEO.

The team will consist of: Silvana Chilelli, MBA at Columbia University and eleven years in the New York headquarters of leading investment banks including JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch; Ilaria Romagnoli, former head of Mergers & Acquisitions Financial Institutions Europe at Rothschild and, as of October, Tomas Spurny, MBA at Columbia University, former CEO of Central and Eastern European banks and with previous experience at Manufacturers Hanover.

The CEO’s staff will support Enrico Cucchiani in strategic projects and assist in managing developments within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
