INTESA SANPAOLO: MARCO BOLGIANI NEW HEAD OF THE INTERNATIONAL SUBSIDIARY BANKS DIVISION
 

Turin - Milan, October 16, 2012 - Intesa Sanpaolo announces that as of December 1st Marco Bolgiani will assume the position of Head of the International Subsidiary Banks Division of the Group.

Marco Bolgiani, aged 55, graduated from Bocconi University, and has held important positions at UniCredit Group, particularly in the private banking and global transaction banking sectors. Bolgiani started his banking career at Citibank, and later served as CEO of Eptaconsors.

As new head of the International Subsidiary Banks Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, Marco Bolgiani will replace Giovanni Boccolini, who has reached the end of his term at Intesa Sanpaolo. Giovanni Boccolini will be recognized by the Bank for his contribution to the development of the international activities of the Group.

Intesa Sanpaolo operates in Central Eastern Europe and Middle Eastern and North African areas with over 1,500 branches, over 30 thousand employees and 8.3 million customers belonging to the Group’s subsidiaries operating in retail and commercial banking in 12 countries.
