INTESA SANPAOLO: STATEMENT RELATING TO NEWS REPORTS ON INVESTIGATIONS OF THE TRANI INVESTIGATION ON EURIBOR

Milan, February 1, 2013 - With reference to reports in the media today regarding a manager in the Group who gave a statement to the prosecutor of Trani, Intesa Sanpaolo states that the manager who was heard was convened as a person aware of certain facts, in relation to the investigation initiated by the Prosecutor on the EURIBOR rate.
