INTESA SANPAOLO: DR pÁl simÁk APPOiNTED as new CHAIRMAN OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD AND ceo OF CIB BANK

Milan, Budapest, 7 February 2014 – Intesa Sanpaolo is pleased to announce that Dr Pál Simák will be appointed as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of CIB Bank, a member of its Group, in April 2014. At the same time Fabrizio Centrone, currently holding the same position, will take on a new important assignment within Intesa Sanpaolo Group.

Dr Pál Simák, following his career at McKinsey & Company international consultancy firm, has gained vast experiences in the Hungarian banking sector over the past 6 years as the Deputy Chief Executive for Finance, then as the Chairman and Chief Executive of MKB Bank, one of the largest banks in Hungary.
