INTESA SANPAOLO: ELIANO OMAR LODESANI APPOINTED CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Turin, Milan, May 14, 2014 - Intesa Sanpaolo announces that Eliano Omar Lodesani will assume the responsibility of Chief Operating Officer with effect from June 1^st 2014.

Mr Lodesani has spent many years at the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. So far he held the positions of Head of the Regional Governance Centre Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige and General Manager of Cassa di Risparmio del Veneto. Prior to that, he held various positions in the International Subsidiary Banks Division and was Managing Director of Intesa Casse del Centro and Banca Primavera, the first multi-channel bank in Italy, of which he was responsible of the launch. He was also head of Human Resources of Banco Ambrosiano Veneto.
