INTESA SANPAOLO WINS NEW GLOBAL FINANCE AWARDS
AS THE FIRST TRADE FINANCE OPERATOR IN EUROPE AND ITALY

Milan, 17 January 2020 - Intesa Sanpaolo is the first Trade Finance operator in Europe and Italy. Global Finance, a prestigious US financial newspaper, awarded the Best Trade Finance Providers 2020 Award to the Corporate & Investment Banking Division led by Mauro Micillo this year. For the Bank it is the first time that it has obtained the Best Trade Finance Providers’ Award in Western Europe.

The award was presented at the BAFT 2020 Global Annual Meeting in Frankfurt at the presence of the main international players in the sector. To collect them, for Intesa Sanpaolo, Raffaele Martino of the Financial Institutions Department and Francesco Gabriele Lucchese of the Global Transaction Banking Department.

Global Finance, founded in 1987 and based in New York, has a circulation of 50 thousand copies and readers in over 190 countries. The monthly stands out for its specialized audience in the international corporate and financial world.
