INTESA SANPAOLO SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH THE ITALIAN MINISTRY OF LABOUR, INVITALIA AND ABI IN SUPPORT OF NEW YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP
· Intesa Sanpaolo will provide a fee-free restricted account and support services for young entrepreneurs applying for the programme
· Support for business creation for 18–35-year-olds, with incentives provided under Decree Law 60/24
Milan, 5 December 2025 – Intesa Sanpaolo signed the Agreement promoted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, Invitalia and the Italian Banking Association (ABI) to support business creation among young people aged between 18 and 35 unemployed, jobseekers or earning below the minimum income threshold (“working poor”).
As part of this Agreement, Intesa Sanpaolo will provide a fee-free restricted account, into which incentive payments will be credited. The account is:
· accessible even before submitting an application to Invitalia
· free of charge for the entire duration of the initiative, including account fees, bank transfers, and management costs (only stamp duty costs are borne by the customer).
This support will be further enhanced by the CresciBusiness Programme, run by the Bank’s Banca dei Territori Division, led by Stefano Barrese, and dedicated to small and micro-enterprises. Now in its third year, the programme offers liquidity support and guaranteed loans to foster projects in digitalisation, sustainability, and the development of small businesses.
Details of the incentives – Agreement between the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, Invitalia, and ABI
The incentives provided under Decree Law 60/24 and governed by the Agreement are called “Autoimpiego Centro Nord” (“Self-Employment Central-North”) and “Resto al Sud 2.0”, and include non-repayable grants in the form of vouchers or contributions, along with training, project planning support, and business skills development through mentoring.
The total national fund allocated for youth entrepreneurship incentives amounts to €576 million, broken down as follows:
- €219.6 million for “Autoimpiego Centro-Nord”;
- €356.4 million for “Resto al Sud 2.0”.
