Milan, 20 July 2026 – Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division led by Mauro Micillo, has been recognised as Italy's Best Investment Bank at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, held in London last week.
The award confirms the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division's leading position in the Italian investment banking market and recognises a business model that combines specialised expertise, innovation, international reach and strong support for the real economy. The Division continues to partner with corporates, financial institutions and public finance, delivering integrated solutions to support growth, transformation and development across domestic and international markets.
The recognition from Euromoney highlights IMI CIB's ability to create long-term value for its clients, reinforcing its leadership in investment banking through a comprehensive offering spanning advisory, capital markets, structured finance, transaction banking and tailored solutions to support business growth and international expansion.
