INTESA SANPAOLO RECOGNISED AS ITALY’S LEADING COMPANY FOR ESG ASPECTS, ACCORDING TO EXTEL
Marco Delfrate named Italy's Best IR Professional
Milan, 17 September 2026 - Intesa Sanpaolo has been recognised as Italy's leading company for ESG aspects among Italian large-cap companies cross-sector.
Marco Delfrate was named Italy’s top Investor Relations Professional in the Large Cap category, ranking first for the ninth consecutive year and for the tenth time in the past eleven years.
Sara Pellicanó was honoured as IR Rising Star in the same category.
The awards are based on the results of the 2026 Extel Survey, which involved over 1,500 institutional investors and financial analysts.
Extel is an independent research provider with a strong reputation among financial analysts and institutional investors, known for its accurate and transparent methodology, and operating in the market for over 50 years.
The awards were presented at the Italian Investor Relations Awards 2026, an event organised by AIR (the Italian Investor Relations Association).
