Roxana Hidan appointed CEO and Chairperson of the Management Committee of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania

Bucharest, September 3^rd, 2026 – Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania announces the appointment of Roxana Hidan as Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the bank's Management Committee, following receipt of the necessary approvals and registrations.

Roxana Hidan brings more than 25 years of banking experience in Romania and internationally, including executive and board-level roles. Throughout her career, her responsibilities have spanned business development, retail banking, strategy and transformation.

In her new role, Roxana Hidan will lead the next stage of development of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania, with the objective of accelerating the bank's growth, strengthening the relationship with customers and leveraging the expertise and capabilities of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.

Roxana Hidan has over 25 years of experience in the financial and banking sector, in leadership roles in Romania and on international markets. She has coordinated retail banking and commercial development activities, as well as initiatives to transform, digitize and improve the customer experience. Prior to her appointment at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania, Roxana Hidan held the position of Advisor to the Management at ProCredit Bank Romania. Throughout her career, she has held executive positions within OTP Group, including member of the Management Board and Deputy CEO, Business Division at OTP Bank Romania, as well as CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board of Millennium Bank – OTP Group. Subsequently, she expanded her experience internationally through a leadership role at OTP Bank Albania.
