The Executive Education course on Responsible AI: Strategies, Norms and Practices for a Responsible Management of Artificial Intelligence’, realised by Cetif - Università Cattolica in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, Accenture and Centai, has started.

Responsible AI: Executive Education Course for AI

The rapid development of AI increasingly impacts and accelerates the change of the way of living and working in the near future. This acceleration forces institutions to be proactive to prevent risks, harms and social complications arising from misinformation or misuse of new technologies. Hence the commitment of institutions to prepare long-term strategies and clear regulatory frameworks aimed at guiding the development and implementation of these technologies, safeguarding the centrality and self-determination of people.

In fact, in the partnership activated for the realisation of the course ‘Responsible AI: Strategies, Norms and Practices for a Responsible Management of Artificial Intelligence’, the Bank provides students with the expertise gained in the development of digital implementation processes particularly marked by transparency and accountability of developers as well as by the participation and trust of the user public.

Responsible AI: Strategies, Standards and Practices for the Responsible Management of Artificial Intelligence

The course:

  • - is organised by the Centro di Ricerca su Tecnologie, Innovazione e Servizi Finanziari (CETIF - the Research Centre of the Università Cattolica of Milan)  sees the participation of  Accenture, Intesa Sanpaolo and and its investee company Centai as a driver of innovation in research into machine intelligence and complex systems. Many partners are committed to creating synergies to provide excellent training on a crucial topical issue, as well as in-depth knowledge and practical expertise on Responsible AI, emphasising the importance of ethical and compliant use;
  • - is designed to respond to the growing need for a responsible approach in the use of artificial intelligence, required by recent regulatory developments at European level, and with the intention of exploring and developing effective tools, techniques and methods to respond to the increasing demand for regulatory update in the field of AI, encouraging the spread of a responsible culture and approach to the use of artificial intelligence;
  • - started in June 2024 and is aimed at managers and professionals working in the areas of Compliance, Audit, Risk Management, Legal, Digital, IT, as well as professionals from various industries involved in the development and implementation of AI solutions.
  • - proposes a multidisciplinary didactic structure articulated in 5 modules with a total duration of about 45 hours composed of a balanced mix of theoretical lectures, case studies and networking moments curated by a faculty composed of leading academics and experienced professionals.

Executive Education Responsible AI Course Programme

The teaching programme includes:

  • - an overview of artificial intelligence and the main regulations governing it at Italian and international level;
  • - specific focus on Security, Privacy, Data Governance and Data Quality, Ethics and related risks and implications in terms of sustainability;
  • - in-depth studies on the main topics of Fairness, Transparency & Human Oversight.
